What to expect

September 7, 2022

Last weekend, we had a Bachelor party of 11 guys who came from Northern Virginia to hunt with us. They went home with 16 Hogs and should have had a couple more. It was a crazy weekend with sighting on nearly every stand that they hunted. Our hunting will only improve as we get into the hunting season. Book Your trips ASAP as our best dates are filling up fast.

August 15, 2022

Yesterday, we had bears all over our Tactacam Reveal Cellular cameras. We also had lots of pigs out moving in the daytime at 4 of our bait sites. We have 13 Cellular Cams in the woods sending us hundreds of photos each day. We post these pictures just about every day to our Facebook page. It’s an easier platform to upload current pictures in real-time. The time and dates are visible on all of our Trail Camera pictures on the bottom right side of each photo. The hunting pressure has been really low this summer and we are busy getting food plots prepared for the upcoming season. We are booking our Fall Deer & Hog Hunting Combos now. Get your group together and call us to get on our schedule ASAP. Don’t wait too long as the best dates are filling up fast. Our Deer season opens up on October 15, 2022, and runs thru January 8 this year. Check back here for more info.

February 12, 2022

Last night was a Great night to be in the woods. Lots of deer & hogs were seen. We have 5 guys in Camp right now from North Carolina at the time of this post, they currently have harvested 7 hogs already. We still have some open dates before the weather gets too hot, so don’t wait to call and book your next Wild Hog Hunting adventure. We are currently monitoring over 20 Trail Cameras on our bait stations. This is one of the Best times of the year to be in the woods hunting the Georgia Wild Hog. Come on and get you some Fresh Sausage!

October 27, 2021

This week has seen lots of deer movement with some pre-rut activity. Our hunters have taken several small bucks and several does this week in camp as the deer activity has ramped up. The hog hunting has been on fire as well. During the last week we ended up with 6 Deer & 9 hogs. A lot of hunting from before daylight to the wee hours of the morning. As some of this cooler weather comes in here this week, the rut activity should pick up. A grunt call or rattling antlers will be good tools to have in your daypack for the next few weeks. Traditionally here in Twiggs County, GA, our rut begins to peak around November 4 until about Thanksgiving. You still have time to book a hunt for the month of November.

September 27, 2021

There were no hunters this past weekend, so the wild hogs caught a little break. Our next group comes in this Friday, and it looks like it will be a great hunt. There’s lots of activity showing up on the Tacta-cam Reveal Cell Cams. The weather here in middle Georgia has turned off cooler this week and the activity has been off the charts. Here are a couple of early morning pictures from a sounder that is hitting the bait piles on a pretty regular basis. We are starting to book up our fall hunting trips so if you are thinking about coming to Georgia on a wild hog hunt this hunting season, get your group together, give us a call, and let’s get you on the schedule. Here are a couple of photos from this past weekend’s hunt with Don and his sons. They used some ATN X-Sight 4 K’s mounted on their 7.62 x 39 MM AR15 Style rifles to kill multiple hogs. Nighttime hunting is extremely exciting at Hog Wild USA. The Biggest Russian Boars tend to come out to play after dark.
